Love Coffee Roasters brings passion for java to Avon Lake
04/17/2026 – Avon Lake, Ohio – The City of Avon Lake will hold a ribbon cutting event to celebrate the opening of Love Coffee Roasters located at 33473 Lake Road (Beach Park Station-Stop 65), on Monday, April 20 at 8:30 a.m. Love Coffee Roasters offers a variety of classic and specialty coffee and tea drinks, matcha, boba tea, pastries, and farm-to-table breakfast items. Catering is also available with affordable options for events of 40 to 300+ people.
Love Coffee Roasters owner and Avon Lake resident Chris Schilla says his passion for coffee began during his time serving in the military. “I had some bad days during my time in the U.S. Army, but a good cup of coffee helped make those bad days better.” Before opening their new location, Schilla and his wife operated a mobile coffee cart. He says the timing is right to open a brick-and-mortar shop.
“It’s truly a dream come true to open a coffee shop in my hometown,” said Schilla. “This is an awesome opportunity to bring quality, freshly roasted coffee to my local community. Avon Lake needs a coffee shop that is walkable for its west side residents, and I think that Stop 65 and Beach Park Station is an up-and-coming plaza with lots of new and exciting things coming to this area soon.”
While Schilla is excited about Love Coffee Roasters’ new home, he hasn’t retired the mobile coffee cart and still deploys it to cater delicious coffee drinks, matcha, and refreshing boba beverages at corporate events, weddings, and other special occasions.
“Avon Lake values community and connection, and Love Coffee Roasters provides exactly the kind of gathering space our residents enjoy,” said Development Director Ted Esborn. “Not only do they offer great coffee and food, but a place to catch-up with friends or have a morning meeting. We wish them tremendous success and are proud to have them at Beach Park Station.”
Love Coffee Roaster is open Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., closed Sunday. For more information, visit lovecoffeeroastingco.com.
