The Fix brings chef-prepared meals and a championship pedigree to Avon Lake

08/11/2026 – The City of Avon Lake will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of The Fix, located at 32730 Walker Road, Unit C-5, on Friday, August 14, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. The Fix is owned by Chef Terry Bell (Chef T), who spent 17 years as the team chef for the Cleveland Cavaliers, including during the team’s 2016 NBA Championship season.

The Fix offers chef prepared, grab-and-go meals Tuesday through Friday from noon to 6:00 p.m., preordered meals on Tuesday and Thursday, as well as catering and personal chef services. The meals and menus vary and include several gluten-free and some dairy-free options. Many items, including soups, sauces, dressings, and marinades, are made from scratch using locally-sourced ingredients.

“From the first time I saw The Landings, I knew it fit the vision I had for The Fix,” said Bell. “I wasn’t looking for just a commercial kitchen, I wanted a place that felt connected to the community. The Landings has that small business atmosphere where people can stop in, discover something new, and support local entrepreneurs. Avon Lake has been incredibly welcoming, and I’m proud to be a part of a community that truly values local businesses.”

The Fix’s goal is to make high-quality, restaurant-style meals convenient for individuals and families, giving customers more time to spend doing the things they love.
