Avon Lake Councilwoman Jennifer Fenderbosch reappointed to the Ohio Materials Management Advisory Council
08/25/2026 – Avon Lake, Ohio – Avon Lake Ward 2 Councilwoman Jennifer Fenderbosch has been reappointed to the Ohio Materials Management Advisory Council (MMAC) for a term ending July 1, 2029. The MMAC provides advice and guidance to the Director of the Ohio EPA on solid waste issues, including updates to the State Solid Waste Management Plan and Ohio EPA’s recycling and litter prevention grant programs. The council is also tasked with facilitating partnerships that expand markets for recycled commodities.
“I am honored to receive this reappointment and to continue serving on the Ohio Materials Management Advisory Council,” said Councilwoman Fenderbosch. “Resource management, sustainability, and responsible waste reduction are critical to the long-term health and economic vitality of both Avon Lake and the State of Ohio. I look forward to working alongside my fellow council members to advance practical, forward-thinking materials management policies that benefit all Ohioans.”
The MMAC council is comprised of 13 members appointed by the Governor to serve three-year terms. The composition of the council is designed to include key stakeholders in Ohio’s comprehensive solid waste management system and includes representatives from solid waste management districts, health districts, counties, municipal corporations, townships, statewide environmental advocacy groups, private sector institutions, and the general public.
