Job Title: Community Transportation Driver (Part-Time)

The City of Avon Lake is seeking applicants for Part-Time Community Transportation Driver. This position provides driving service (unassisted) to all Avon Lake residents between 20-25 hours per week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The transportation driver will drive a transport van with a wheelchair lift available. Transportation is available for local shopping, banks and medical appointments.
High school diploma, or equivalent (GED), plus valid Valid State of Ohio Driver's License with a clean driving record, and pre-employment background check and drug testing are required. Experience assisting those with limiting mobility is preferred.
Position is open until filled.
The salary for the position is $20/hour, 20-25 hours per week. An Ohio Driver’s License is required (no CDL).
